Some are extremely spicy so be careful, the heat can build up and attack! Very local place and simple setup. Owner and family are friendly. They open early and close by 2pm. ”

I came out from the tourist area expressly to encounter this. As a silly Farang I walked up to ask for a menu and a gentleman from behind the table jumped up in a helpful way and showed the various large pots of food to choose from and explained which might be too spicy. I chose a yellow curry chicken and a spicy fish stew. It was excellent with two plates of rice (I came for seconds) a bottle of Coke and two dessert treats to take away for the beach. All under 200 Baht. Wonderful Thailand! ”
